In Defense of the Faith

Imagine if we started (in our homes and churches) raising generations of children who stood uncompromisingly on the Word of God, knew how to defend the Christian faith, could answer the skeptical questions of the age, and had a fervor to share the gospel from the authority of God’s Word with whomever they met! This could change the world.

I am forever grateful to my father for teaching me Christian apologetics. From a young age, my father always welcomed my questions regarding God and provided me with answers that not only satisfied my questions, but justified my faith in God.

My background in philosophy necessitated that I study world religions, logic and critical thinking- all helpful tools in solidifying my faith in the One, True God. I can’t encourage parents enough to learn how to defend the faith. We don’t need to be intimidated by new age dogmas, conflicting religions, or atheism, because Truth is on our side. When studying philosophy, not once did I ever question Christ and the gospel, because I had such a wealth of historical and scientific evidence. I urge you to become a knowledgeable resource for your children, because if you are unable to answer your children’s questions, they will turn to others who may lead them astray. We are responsible for guiding our children in Truth and Light. Let us equip our children and ourselves with knowledge of the Truth as we face a world that seeks to confuse and destroy the image of Christ in each of us.
