Fostering Peace
Let’s be cheerful! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant and happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right colors and texture and the furniture comfortable and beautiful.

I’m working on making our home more functional for our family. Aesthetics are important but can tend to be impractical. I’m trying to find ways to incorporate good use out of pretty things. These baskets are a great example. When our homes are orderly and beautifully curated, they foster an environment for peace which is both physically and spiritually refreshing.
